Mantra Moods, incorporating the Executive Committee of Senses and Soul, Colombo Music Festival 2012 with eight Artistic Directors and two Music Consultants, serve as the main Festival organizers, in association with The Sri Lanka Conventions Bureau, Waters Edge and M-Entertainment.

Our conviction is that music is an effective medium to perpetrate the message of peace and harmony, negating the detrimental effects of war and terrorism in the region. One of the most effective modes of expression of unity and solidarity; presenting and positioning Sri Lanka as an ideal destination for returning expatriates; a dream-island full of beautiful places and a cornucopia of unique sights and sounds for first-time visitors.

Senses and Soul, The Colombo Music Festival 2012 will be an expression of the sublime through emotive lyrics, inspired melodies, irresistible rhythms, together blending into a conglomerate of sound beyond comparison! All the abundant richness of South Asia served up on a vast stage of musical diversity and invigorating pleasure.

Not only has the 21st Century seen Asian musicians aspiring to embrace Western sounds and influences, but the recent past has seen numerous Western musicians making forays into the Eastern world of music and striving to embrace Eastern sounds and rhythms through 'Fusion'… the latest place where the East meets the West!
